Capacity Building

To strengthen capacities of ER beneficiaries, staff, partners and stakeholders towards a quality and sustainable human rights-based service delivery in Kisumu County and its environs through:

  1. Training and sensitization of beneficiaries on human rights and mental health rights.
  2. Human rights based sensitizations/trainings of stakeholders and duty bearers.
  3. Train and equip ER staff with necessary skills and capacities on human rights and mental health rights.

Integrated Health Services

To promote:

  1. Increased access to comprehensive human rights-based mental health services.
  2. Providing information and support for access, adherence, retention of services and referrals on human rights and mental health rights.
  3. Improving psycho-social support and ensuring mental health and wellbeing for beneficiaries.

Advocacy

ER advocates for:

  1. Active and meaningful inclusion of partners to create an enabling and friendly environment for mental health rights of girls and women.
  2. Fronting for integrating of mental health rights issues in policy making forums.
  3. Partnership in dialogues on human rights and mental health rights of girls and womxn.

Research & Documentation

ER has its programs informed based on evidence and needs that have been researched so as to enable implementation that has impact and responds to the needs of its beneficiaries.

  1. Carrying out operations research (OR) in relevant project areas.
  2. Strengthening monitoring of project activities.
  3. Conducting periodic evaluation of the implemented projects.
  4. Enhancing documentation of the project processes.
